　　Farewell to Boao - We'll Meet Again on these Breezy Shores

　　Boao, where April skies are a delight.

　　Sea breeze on coconut trees, swaying against the blue,

　　and where a happy day follows a dark night.

　　Boao is a wondrous place, or so they say,

　　Where the waters of the Wanquan, Jiuqu and Longgun meet in the bay.

　　Dongyu, Shapo and Yuanyang, islands all,

　　peer at each other across the swell.

　　The sister hills, Jinfeng, Tianyong and Longtan,

　　hug close together where they stand.

　　Yes, Boao, blessed is she,

　　with rivers, islands and hills, three upon three upon three.

　　'Boao', what's in this name? 'Lots of fish', she does exclaim.

　　For a millennia, a sleepy fishing village,

　　where the people craved happiness, not fame.

　　Now, she has transformed, this plain ingenue,

　　into BFA's annual conference venue.

　　With the new century came the change,

　　now she is a influencer on the global stage.

　　All eyes are drawn to her,

　　Beautiful dreams of a brighter tomorrow in reach,

　　take root and bear fruit on her beautiful beach.

　　Of all the places you could go,

　　Boao must be on that list, you know.

　　Not just for her unhindered horizons,

　　or for her mouthwatering fare,

　　or even her unadorned cultural charm,

　　No, you come for,

　　the quite respite away from it all,

　　or to feel her growing vitality,

　　and witness the world, heading for glory.

　　It's been so long,

　　and yet we long for more,

　　it's been so long,

　　my friends, from far and wide,

　　let us long still,

　　to face these challenges, with courage and grit,

　　and go through it together, through thick and thin.

　　BFA was done, a job well done,

　　but the Asian miracle is still at play, day after day.

　　The ocean breezes will still be here,

　　to welcome our guests again next year.
